Heteromultivalent Glycomacromolecules as Sensors and Inhibitors of Viral Interactions
The objective of this project is to apply precision glycomacromolecules towards investigations of viral interactions. Homomultivalent glycopolymers presenting different sugar ligands will be synthesized to probe interactions with human and murine noroviruses, in close collaboration with P3 and P6. Heteromultivalent glycopolymers combining sulfated and non-sulfated sugar ligands will be investigated towards their binding to PyVs and HPV in close collaboration with P1, P2, and P4.
