The Role of Glycan-Binding in Norovirus Infection - A Biological Approach
The overall aim of this project is to characterize the role of glycan-binding during murine and human noroviruses infection. Understanding this very first step in infection will help us to understand fundamental aspects of norovirus infection and help to identify novel targets urgently needed to combat norovirus infections. The project will collaborate with projects P1 and P3 on structural analyses of glycan specificities, and with P6 and P7 on strategies to inhibit attachment.
