Design of Carbohydrate-Inspired Ligands to Modulate Entry of Murine Noroviruses into Host Cells
This project will explore the development of high-affinity binders for murine noroviruses employing STD NMR in combination with other ligand based NMR experiments. In collaboration with P7, we will pursue the synthesis of polymeric multivalent inhibitors based on the NMR results. Testing of the compounds in cell culture and animal models will be performed in the Taube laboratory (P5). Affinity measurements will be done using NMR. In collaboration with the Uetrecht laboratory (P8) we will complement these data with affinity data from MS.
